ผมได้ดูตัวอย่างรูปวาดของวินเซนต์ แวนโกะห์ ชื่อภาพ Starry Night พ่อเล่าให้ฟังว่าเขาเป็นคนที่วาดรูปตัวเองแล้วคิดว่าวาดหูได้ไม่สวยสักทีก็เลยตัดหูจริงๆ ทิ้งไป แต่ผลงานของเขามีสไตล์ ในหนังสือเล่มนี้ก็สอนวาดรูปสไตล์แวนโกห์ โดยเอาส้อมมาขูดตอนที่สียังไม่แห้ง

กว่าจะทำเมฆกับพระอาทิตย์เสร็จ ผมก็เริ่มเบื่อ บอกแม่ว่าถ้าจะให้ผมทำต่อ ผมจะป้ายๆ สีเขียวที่เหลือให้มันเสร็จๆ ไปก็แล้วกัน แม่โกรธมากเลย บอกว่าถ้าผมยังไม่อยากทำก็ให้หยุดพักไปทำอย่างอื่น แต่ทีหลังอย่าพูดว่า "ทำให้มันเสร็จๆ ไป" ถ้าจะวาดรูปต้องทำเพราะสนุกกับมัน ไม่อย่างนั้นอย่าวาดเลยดีกว่า

พอผมเห็นผลงานตัวเองหลังจากที่สีแห้งแล้ว ผมอุทานว่า "สวยจัง"

I saw Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. Dad told me that he cut off his ear while drawing his portrait just because he couldn't draw it well. But he had a unique style. This book shows me how to paint like Van Gogh by using a fork scratching the paints while it's still wet.

I was bored after the sun and clouds were done. I told mom to paint the rest with green "to get over it". Mom was very angry. She said if I was not in a mood, just took a break but I shouldn't have said "just get over it". Painting with pleasure or better not to paint anything.

However, when I saw my finished work after it dried, I said "WoW"!
