แม่กำหนดให้เช้าวันเสาร์เป็นชั่วโมงเรียนศิลปะที่บ้าน

โดยแม่จะหาหนังสือเทคนิคศิลปะมาเปิดดู แล้วช่วยสอนให้ผมทำตาม

เรื่องของเรื่องก็คือ แม่บอกว่าถ้าส่งผมไปเรียนกับครูสอนศิลปะ มันจะเปลืองตังค์แม่

วันเสาร์แรกแม่ถามว่าผมอยากจะวาดรูปอะไร ผมอยากวาดหิมะ

แม่เลยหากระดาษสีดำกับสีอครีลิคมาให้

หลังจากวาดมนุษย์หิมะแล้ว แม่แนะให้ผมวาดบ้านลงไปเป็นแบ็คกราวน์

แต่ผมอยากวาดคนมากกว่า แม่ก็เลยตามใจ

สุดท้ายแม่บอกว่า วาดรูปคนดูมีชีวิตชีวากว่ารูปบ้านจริงๆ ด้วยสิ

ส่วนหิมะตกนั้นเป็นเทคนิคจากหนังสือ คือเอาแปรงสีฟันจุมสีแล้วใช้นิ้วขูดๆ ที่แปรง สีมันจะกระเด็นไปทั่วกลายเป็นหิมะตก

Mom set up Saturday morning as an art hour at home. She'll open an art-skills book and guide me through. As a matter of fact, she doesn't want to spend her money for sending me to an art teacher.

Mom asked what I'd like to draw on the first Saturday, I said "Snow". So, she brought a black paper and acrylic. After the snowman was done, mom suggested me to draw some houses on the background. I prefered to draw a boy and so there was. Mom agreed that it was more lifely than houses.

The falling snow came from the book, by using a toothbrush and splashing the paint over.
